Welcome to Wire Expressions! I'm a 5 star shop because I value making a quality product, shipping on time, communication & transparency and taking care of my customers to the best of my ability when issues arise. If you have a question about ordering from me, please don't hesitate to ask!

Etsy has served it's purpose for me, but the increasing fees and lowering of service for small shops like mine means I do have to charge more there than I do here - plus here, I am not required to charge you the GST/PST/HST.)

Payments

Payments made through Wire Expressions are processed through Square. Square keeps your payment information secure. Wire Expressions will never receive your credit card information.

❉ What forms of payment do you accept?
All Major Credit Cards, Wire Expressions Square Gift Cards

❉ Local customers can contact me if you would like to pay by e-transfer and pick your order up to save on shipping.

❉ Orders will not be made or shipped until full payment is received.

❉ Items are listed in Canadian Funds (CAD). Any mention of prices in listing descriptions or through correspondence from me will always be in CAD.

 

Payments made through Wire Expressions shop through thevirtualmarket.ca are processed through Stripe on behalf of The Virtual Market.

***** Please read all shipping information carefully. Delays due to things like weather or increased shipping volumes occassionally occur. Once your order is in the postal system, it is out of my control. If you have any concerns or questions about an order that has already shipped I am pleased to help work it out! ❉ SHIPPING TIMES

Processing time is the time to make & package the order. I usually ship ahead of schedule!

Shipping times vary by listing & begin once the order is at the post office. They are as follows:

*CANADA 4-7 biz days (via Canada Post) *No Tracking with Standard shipping. Tracking Upgrade available in checkout.

*USA 7-16 biz days (via Canada Post) *Includes tracking for orders over $15 CAD

*USA 'RUSH' UPGRADE (only available upon request & seasonally as an upgrade Nov20-Dec22) USPS or FedEx 3-8 biz days. **NOTE: This is couriered to Sweet Grass, MT. It is faster than Canada Post, however, I will not issue refunds if it is RTS or 'Undeliverable' as these packages are not returned to me. You MUST contact me for the return address in Canada in order to return eligible items.

 

❉ WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

This shop ships to Canada & USA.

 

❉ When will my order ship?

Typically In stock orders will ship within 1-3 business days. Made to Order, Custom Orders and Volume Order times may vary. I will contact you when it ships or is ready for pick up.

  

❉ Where do you ship?

Orders ship to Canada & the United States to the address on the order. Before you click submit, please double check to make sure your address is correct to avoid your having to pay to ship it twice.

NOTE: Please double check that your postal code and unit number auto populates correctly when checking out. If you experience an issue with this and are unable to manually enter the correct information, please contact me after placing your order with the correct information (I will update the information before I ship - as long as it isn't a completley different address). If your Postal Code auto-fills incorrectly, you will need to request a change through 'Google Maps' to correct it. If this happens and I DO receive the package back, then I can charge you the shipping again to reship it, or refund eligible items less a 15% administration fee. Please double check to avoid delays and disapointment.

 

❉ I'm in Calgary, can I pick it up or do you deliver?

I do not generally deliver orders, but we can arrange for you to pick it up to save the shipping. However, my shipping is very reasonable, and may save you the gas money and the trip!

 

❉ CUSTOMS & DUTY

Wire Expressions is located in Canada. Buyer is responsible to pay any applied customs, tariffs, duty and/or tax set by their country. I am required by customs to declare it as 'Merchandise' along with the value. Packages which are refused and/or returned to sender will only be refunded as per the item return policies less shipping or restocking fees and any other fees incurred to collect the package.

 

❉ DELAYED PACKAGES - WHERE'S MY ORDER?

If your package has not arrived within 7 biz days to Canada or 16 biz days to the USA from the shipped date, please contact me. My policy is then to wait the following additional number of days for it to arrive:

CANADA - 10 additional Biz Days (5 within Alberta)

USA - 14 additional Biz Days for Canada Post (10 additional Business Days for DYK POST-USPS/FedEx upgraded shipping).

INTERNATIONAL - 38 additional Biz Days

*After this total time, if the package has not shown up at your address or back at mine, then your order will be re-shipped as originally ordered to the address on the order (Replacement only, no refunds).

***Peak holiday times, weather, or other postal disruptions occassionally cause delays in shipping speed.***

***Biz Day is defined as Mon-Fri Business Days excluding statutory holidays.***

 

**WHY DO I WAIT?** Because lost packages are very rare! It is my experience for 9.9/10 ‘where’s my order?’ inquiries show up within days. No one benefits if shipping prices are increased as an insurance to reship items that would otherwise show up a bit late due to the postal service's handling of mail. Christmas and other high volume shipping times are when most shipping delays occur - please order early to avoid disappointment!

 

 

❉ UNDELIVERABLE / INCORRECT ADDRESS

Orders are shipped to the address as it is on the order. If any part of the address is incorrect, your package will likely be returned or 'delivered as addressed'.  If you discover that you provided an incorrect address, please contact me right away so I can try to work with you. If I DO receive the package back, then I can charge you the shipping again to reship it, or refund eligible items less a 15% administration fee.

 

FYI: I take care of my customers! I'm a 5 star shop for a reason! If your order doesn't arrive in the time described above or if I make an error, I’ll own it and cover the cost to reship your order! :)

 

 

❉ Shipping for holiday’s, peak times & special occasions

Once your order is in the postal system, it is out of my hands, therefore I cannot make guarantees on delivery times. Sorry, refunds or credits are not issued if orders do not arrive in time for special events. Please order early to avoid disappointment.

 

 

Returns and Exchanges

❉ Please contact me if you wish to make a Return/Exchange. Return instructions will then be provided for eligible returns/exchanges.

 

❉ I WILL consider the following Returns:

• Earrings with ear-wires - subject to a $3.50 CAD return fee. Fee may waived if you desire an earring exchange.

• Custom cut/measured supplies. (ie: bulk wire or string ordered by length) - subject to a 20% restocking fee

• Eligible items shipped with a FREE SHIPPING promotion - subject to a 20% restocking fee.

     *Restocking fees will be collected except where prohibited by law.

 

❉ NO Returns or Exchanges permitted: 

• Personalized, Custom Designed items, or Large volume orders or deposits.

• Shipping Fees

• Orders shipped via DYK POST (USPS or FedEx) that are Refused, Undeliverable or Returned to the Montana address for any reason. (MUST contact me first for the correct return address!)

• Toe-rings or earrings where the ear wire cannot be removed.

• Items sold as ‘Final Sale’ or ‘Clearance’

• Custom Design Fees

• Digital Downloads

• Items that have been worn or used.

 

 

❉ Return shipping is paid by the buyer. Buyer assumes responsibility for the return package. 

 

❉ Original Shipping will not be refunded (except where required by law).

 

❉ Refunds, less original shipping and any restocking fees will be issued in CAD funds back to your original method of payment. Refunds or exchanges will only be made once the item has been received by Wire Expressions and inspected to be in the same condition it was shipped in.

 

❉ USA/INTERNATIONAL RETURNS - To my Non Canadian Customers: You MUST contact me to get return address and instructions! Wire Expressions reserves the right to refuse packages that are not returned properly, as there can be large fees to bring the package back into Canada.  

**IMPORTANT NOTE!!! Any tracked orders shipped via DYK POST (USPS or FedEx), which are ‘Refused’, ‘Return to Sender’, Returned as 'Undeliverable' or Returned to the Montana Address for any reason will not be refunded. If the order is over $50 CAD (not including shipping) and the package can be retrieved I will consider a refund subject to a $25 CAD fee deducted off the order subtotal. Make sure your address is correct, and contact me to get the correct return address and instructions.

 

❉ DAMAGED ITEMS - Replacements will be made after receiving good quality photo of BOTH the damaged product AND the packaging. (Please hang onto the item as it may be requested back).

❉ Personalization NOTE: 

***Sometimes customers forget to provide me with the personalization information I need…

***Please turn Conversation notifications on to avoid delays or the cancellation of your order.

If you fail to provide all information needed for personalization, then I need to contact you through the Etsy Convo system or via email (if available). 

- In some cases (such as requiring bead colors) I will make the choice for you. First, I will attempt to contact you one (1) time. In my communication to you I will state the action I will take if I do not hear back from you by a specific date. If you do not respond, I will make the choice for you. This will still be shipped within the processing time stated on your order. No refunds or credits will be issued if you are unhappy with the choice I make. 

- If I require a name or other very specific information that I cannot choose on your behalf, I will attempt to contact you three (3) times. This may delay shipping of your order beyond the original processing time. If I do not receive a response from you, your order will be canceled and refunded in full.

❉ Notes about the manufacturing process:
Each item is handmade without the aid of a jig therefore slight variations in size or shape may occur from one similar piece to another. I do not make one of kind pieces, so slight variations may be seen from the photo to the actual item you receive. Tool marks may be slightly visible on some pieces. (i.e. the lettering where the wire folds over itself). This is not considered a defect.


❉ Wire Expressions is manufactured in a smoke & pet free environment.


❉ Wire Expressions contains small parts and may have sharp or rough edges and therefore is not suitable for children.
